Spark!
Look at that. See it shine. Be amazed at the transparency and stare aghast at the magical apparition of the drawers seen through the oven door glass. Oh yes my friends. I cleaned my oven doors.
For now we will just pretend that the actual inside of the oven does not exist and that my lack of follow through to that part of the appliance does not affect how impressed you are with the shiny, shiny gleaming door.
Here's a before. Prepare yourself.
What's that you say? You mucky mucky bitch! You would be right. I am not fond of cleaning which requires "elbow grease." Well, lets face it, i'm not fond of cleaning full stop. However, i was browsing Pinterest when i stumbled upon a ye olde schoole tip for using Baking Soda (that's Bicarbonate of Soda to us Brits).
I used three really heaped teaspoons in a bowl and added water to form a paste. When it was sufficiently pastey runny i dolloped it all on the door and rubbed it all over. I came back 30 minutes later armed with a scouring sponge and after a few minutes of scrubbing It was sparkling!
I'm not going to lie. I had to scrub, and i had to take a break inbetween to "help daughter with her letters", but it wasn't that hard. I didn't break a sweat anyway.
And now. Now i have this. (Cue ethereal music of the heavens)
Ting!
I also made my weekly meal plan and shopping list and did a few loads of laundry. It helped soooo much that the weather was nice, so i could peg the washing out on the line. Ahhh, summer is on it's way. At last, at LAST!
I also got my thinking cap on about how to make sure i fit all of my responsibilities in on a regular basis. After much thought and both real and imaginary paper-screwing-up i have the perfect solution. I just have to make it and then i can show you.
